1. Scope and summary
This Privacy Policy describes how the Crown Trail Cards development team (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in the Crown Trail Cards Android application and this support website.
The short version: You can play as a guest without providing personal information. Guest progress stays on your device. If you choose Google sign-in, Firebase Authentication identifies your account and Cloud Firestore stores your account-linked gameplay progress.
This website is a static information site. It does not use advertising cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, account forms, or payment technology.
2. Information we handle
Guest play
No account is required. Gameplay progress is stored locally on your device and is not sent to Cloud Firestore.
Optional Google sign-in
Firebase Authentication provides a Firebase user ID, display name, and email address for authentication and account display.
Locally stored gameplay information
Guest progress and account-specific offline caches may include virtual coins, gems, XP, collection fragments, club points, selected layout, completed levels, tutorial state, and daily-claim availability. Sound and music preferences also remain on the device.
Cloud progression for signed-in players
Cloud Firestore stores one gameplay document linked to your Firebase user ID. It includes the progression information listed above, a schema version, revision number, and update timestamp. The gameplay document does not store your email address, Google authentication token, age-gate response, or last reward message.
Account-cache filenames on the device are derived from a SHA-256 hash; they do not contain your raw Firebase user ID or email address.
Information not collected by the current build
The current app does not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, billing, or tracking SDKs. We do not collect advertising identifiers, payment or financial information, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, videos, user files, microphone recordings, or browsing history.
Firebase Cloud Storage uploads are not active. Gameplay progression uses Cloud Firestore, not Firebase Cloud Storage.
3. How we use information
- Authenticate players who voluntarily choose Google sign-in.
- Display the signed-in player’s account name inside the app.
- Operate the game and preserve guest or account-linked progress.
- Restore, cache, and synchronize signed-in progression across sessions.
- Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.
- Protect the service and investigate technical or security problems.
We do not use app information for targeted advertising, cross-app tracking, data brokerage, credit decisions, or rewards with real-world value.
4. Service providers and sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.
Google and Firebase process information as service providers needed for optional sign-in and cloud progression:
- Firebase Authentication handles optional Google account authentication.
- Cloud Firestore stores signed-in gameplay progression.
- Firebase Hosting serves this static privacy and support website.
Their handling of information is governed by their applicable terms and privacy policies. Depending on where you live, information may be processed in countries other than your own.
5. Data retention and deletion
Guest data
Guest progress remains on your device until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app.
Signed-in account data
Account-linked authentication and cloud progression remain until you request deletion, unless a limited retention period is required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Signing out does not delete your Firebase Authentication account or Firestore gameplay document.
Use the public account-deletion page to request deletion. A completed request removes the Firebase Authentication account and its associated users/{uid} Firestore gameplay document. Local app data must be cleared separately on each device.
6. Security
Authentication and Firestore traffic are encrypted in transit. Firestore security rules restrict each authenticated player to their own gameplay document. Account caches use hashed filenames, and cloud gameplay documents exclude email addresses and authentication tokens.
No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information handled by the game.
7. Responsible play and virtual items
Adults of legal gambling age only. Crown Trail Cards is not directed to minors, and players who indicate that they are under the legal age are blocked from entering the game.
Crown Trail Cards does not offer or promote real-money gambling. It has no cash-out, sweepstakes, cash prize, or prize of real-world value. Coins, gems, XP, fragments, badges, cosmetics, and club progress are virtual entertainment items only and cannot be redeemed, sold, transferred, exchanged, or cashed out.
The current build does not offer in-app purchases.
These disclosures reflect the game’s current design and the social-casino advertising safeguards described in Google’s Gambling and games policy. Advertising eligibility and certification are separate from this Privacy Policy and depend on the advertising platform, destination ownership, target country, and current rules.
8. Your choices and rights
- Play as a guest without Google sign-in.
- Decline or cancel Google sign-in.
- Clear local data through Android settings or uninstall the app.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of account-linked information.
- Contact us with a privacy question or complaint.
Rights vary by location. We may need to verify that a requester controls the relevant account before acting on an account-specific request.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features, account services, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
